Are you a woman who struggles with self-doubt, lack of confidence and belief in yourself and your abilities?

Are there dreams and goals you would like to achieve but feel like: you don’t have the confidence; you’re not ready to take the plunge; or you’re not good enough or brave enough to achieve them?

Are you exhausted being someone you’re not?

Do you feel there is more to life and what you’re capable of if only you could believe in yourself more?

That’s where An introduction to self-belief and finding your awesome group workshop for women comes in.

What this pilot group workshop is all about

This pilot programme is your caffeine hit to wake you up to the real you and your superpowers of awesomeness. It will introduce you to self-belief, self-doubt and self-worth and bust the myths and illusions around these, as well as help you find your awesome and look at yourself with fresh eyes.

We will do this by exploring how our minds work and uncovering the truth that we are more amazing than we think we are (I know, crazy right!).

The process is all in raising awareness of the way we think and the stories we tell ourselves; what I call “Thought Awareness”. By being more aware, you’ll begin to see how you’re holding yourself back from achieving your goals and dreams and from being the person you want to be.

In a nutshell, awareness of our thoughts, mind and the greater truth of who we are is the first step on the journey to waking up, coming alive to you being you and unleashing your awesome.

And what a transformational journey it can be. I know because I’ve been there.

As a result, I bring to this course case studies from my own experience and my learnings from the inside-out understanding of life (also known as the Three Principles). This is coupled with in-group exercises and optional homework challenges to really explore how your mind is working and how you can start letting go and start feeling good about yourself.

You’ll come away from the programme:

  • Feeling more positive and inspired with an increased awareness of your mindset and how it tends to play games with you.
  • You’ll learn about the illusions around confidence, self-worth and the inner critic and explore how to shift your perspective and practice self-compassion.
  • You’ll develop a greater sense of self-belief and how to tap into that, as well as developing a greater sense of hope and perspective of what is truly possible for you.

This programme is for women who:

  • are sick of feeling stuck or held back from achieving a dream and want to move past that
  • struggle with imposter syndrome and the inner critic and are ready to take action to conquer this
  • are fed up with not feeling good about themselves and want to do something about it
  • believe they are capable of more and are ready to explore this
  • believe there is more to life than what has currently been offered up to them and are ready for change
  • are willing to be vulnerable and put in the hard work (because nothing worthwhile is easy).

About me, your coach

Hi, I’m Katrina Megget. I’m a Kiwi who has lived in the UK for 17 years.

I’m a recovering chronic self-doubter who had low self-esteem and self-worth. My biggest fear was that I wasn’t good enough. And for most of my life this held me back from being who I wanted to be and achieving my goals and dreams.

It took two years of constant self-doubt before I found a smidgeon of courage to commit to my ultimate dream – to walk the 3,000km Te Araroa Trail down the length of New Zealand, solo.

It was an experience that transformed my life.

I set out in late 2018 to walk that trail to prove I was enough. But what I learnt along the way was not that I had to prove I was enough but to learn that I was enough already.

As I trudged through knee-high mud, climbed steep mountains in the remote backcountry, nearly drowned crossing a river, and failed in my first attempt through injury and yet never gave up on the dream, I found a strength, determination, courage and resilience that I didn’t realise I had.

The realisation was profound:

We are stronger, more capable, more resilient and more awesome than we think we are.

The outcome of this realisation has also been profound: finding the courage to break up with an emotionally abusive boyfriend; finding real love; spending three and a half months sailing around Great Britain in a small yacht with my now fiancé, despite having no sailing experience; writing a book about my experience with self-doubt and walking the Te Araroa Trail; and taking steps on a new career path.

For almost 20 years I have been a healthcare journalist. Now I also write and talk about self-doubt, self-worth and my learnings from my adventures while coaching and empowering women to believe in themselves so that they can become the women they want to be and achieve their dreams.

Because the simple truth is: We are fricken amazing!
