Scary things I’ve done in my life…
☠ Moved to the UK from New Zealand by myself
☠ Quit my job to go self-employed
☠ Walked the Te Araroa Trail down the length of New Zealand – 2000km of that solo
☠ Sailed around Great Britain with my now husband when I only had 5 days of sailing experience and had no idea what I was doing or what I was getting into
☠ Broke up with an emotionally abusive ex-boyfriend
☠ Wrote a poem and recited it on social media
☠ Drove a car in the UK (which wasn’t my car, I might add)
☠ Spoke in public to an audience
☠ Got married
☠ Changed career
And I’m still living to tell the tales. 😅
When we have dreams or goals, they often seem scary.
That’s only natural because we’re stepping outside our comfort zone.
But we can do scary.
We can do hard.
We can do tough.
Think of all those things you’ve done in the past, all those times when you’ve faced fear, overcome obstacles, experienced pain.
See that you got out the other side.
See that you coped.
See that you can do it.
Now take your next step towards your scary goal.
Because you’ve got this.
