Jason quit his corporate job, ended a toxic relationship, sold his house and moved to Wales – all to follow his passion for the outdoors. He now balances his time between climbing mountains and working in sales for a tech company in North Wales. He is a #GetOutside Champion for Ordnance Survey, promoting the outdoors, and brand ambassador for Keen Footwear, and is a qualified adventure guide.

Interview with international aquathlete Stef Jackson-Horner

Meet Stef Jackson-Horner!

 Stef is a full time PE teacher in the UK and international aquathlete (a two-stage race involving swimming followed by running). She is a National Aquathlon Champion runner-up 2015 and qualified for European and world championships. Stef is also an Ordnance Survey #GetOutside Champion, promoting the outdoors.

Me, a compass and three burly blokes

So I can now officially read a compass and an Ordnance Survey map. (Yep, the certificate is even winging its way to me in the post as I write.)

 

After my minor freak out on the rain-driven and cloud-covered slopes of Mt Snowdon last year, and my stupidly ambitious desire to climb 40 volcanoes by the age of 40, I thought it best to actually get some outdoor skills.
